Jeanous Denim

In between shooting and personal shopping I try to keep my creative juices flowing ...With that I still customize denim its my own spin on on sometimes boring Denim ....Every once in  awhile you want to grunge it up or jazz up that plain top or throw it back to the late 80s and early 90s when this look was everything . Its just something I started doing A couple years back like I stated in my other Jeanous Posthttp://jeanous.blogspot.com/2011/05/jeanous-and-how-it-got-started.html Since then it has turned into a honest hustle and it all ties back into fashion and styling because they will ask what would look nice with  them check out my latest clients.

Same Girl Different Hair

... So Im always finding inspiration some where  music ,fashion , art  ...I just try and keep my ear to the streets  so like always with my close friends or fashion heads I sent Mia Ray of www.confessionsofaglamaholic.com a image and said I wanna do this with one of her Tee's in turn she said lets do it and she would be my model , LETS GO ... I replied and after texts and emails we had a team and a vision ...two weeks later we had a shoot for her SameGirlDifferentHair Campaign. Prep for the shoot was easy I didn't have to pull because Mia had everything we needed in her closet lol  

Brand new shiny things with tags on em never worn things ...a stylist dream  !! It was 4 of the racks above full of everything trendy, vintage and rare finds so we were all set ... Only thing I had to Pull was a detroitvseverybody.com/ Hoodie to compliment my original idea and we were all set. After the pull we were all set the Team assembled and magic happened ...

Behind The Scenes

I did a shoot back in April where it was the first time me making anything for one ,MUA Kamaria McCullough purchased a gang of crafty materials and said "make some neck pieces for my beauty shoot I know you can do it " Well I did I made two pieces one for Model Alana and another for Rosa-Mia ...That was fun and different for the beauty makeup effect but you know im all about wardrobe so it wouldn't be right if I didn't bring a dress or two or try to get one look out the bunch lol look how it went down at TooDieFor Studios.

I like the result of the final image you? On to the look I went shopping at a thrift store and found this dress that reminded me of Dynasty/School teacher with a spring feel paid maybe $5 for it and put it on Alana and it fit like it was her skin ...check it out !!

I like this dress a lot the print is what caught me but we went further and threw the white wig on which set do you like best ?

Wedding Bliss

Makeup artist https://www.facebook.com/MUALoriLiz  reached out and said she had a model and photographer and need me to provide the wardrobe...Im always down for a shoot this was a challenge I  could not Find a wedding gown for a reasonable price, she wanted it to be form fitting not the Cinderella style ... While researching I could not find one for a reasonable price I was giving a hundred dollars to make it happen . After days internet searching and salvation army going I went to my safe haven "Value World" walked in the door and BAM seen this wedding gown. This mermaid silhouette was just what was needed and it only cost .... you ready for this ..$10.50 yea you read right $10.50 ... I paid $15 dollars for the Vail and what you have above is the out come . Shot in downtown Detroits beautiful Campus Mauritius  this shoot came out awesomely Jeanous...What do you think ?

Fashion Whore

In April photographer  Tony Focus asked me to style a shoot for up and coming designer Giovanni St.James for his "Fashion Whore "Collection  https://www.facebook.com/GiovanniStJamesCollections who was gonna  get his designs in Michigan store Revive ...Im always down for anything fashion Male or Female don't matter none to me its all in the love of the craft ...I was excited ..the shoot had a dark and sexy undertone think Madonna's book imagery but this would be on hoodies and tee's etc .. Giovanni had a very clear idea on how things should look I was there just to make sure things flowed consistently. With plenty of models ,hair and makeup  this two day shoot was awesome ...check out what we came up with for his Ads ...
