Now anyone that know's me will tell you I love to laugh and if u have not seen this 2001 film u need to check it out ...it has that dry humor I love with and all star cast that can bring the pain . But what really caught my attention was of course the FASHION... the 70's and 80's nostalgia killed me and whoever came up with the styling or costuming is jeanous..set in the Hamilton Heights section of west Harlem ,Manhattan New York ...Man The whole family was shob from the kids to Royal (the father) but the two that did it was Margot and Richie ...Her and the Lacoste tennis dresses and Mink and Birkin and Him with the quintessential Fila head band . This is one of my favorite movies since it came out in 2001 ...laughter and fashion I love it !!

But she had this same full length Mink at twelve lol  fashion heads your missing out if u have not seen this movie !!!

Only weird thing was the love story but I understand it cause Margot was adopted lol ..

I think we all were glued to the TV when this show came on Thursday nights I mean the whole notion of the black perfect family in the 80's was Jeanous but my concern from the age of 5 was two things

1.Rudy and 2.What was Denise going to have on ....Denise always was so NYC being that the show was based outta Brooklyn But she was just what was POPPINGTON at that moment! Workout wear,Big Shoulders...crazy colors u know the "rebel teen" ...To me she was fresh and what I payed attention to along with Claire's office chic, Heath cliff's Sweaters and Theo's "Gordon Gartrell. I don't wanna OD on the Denise Pictures but she was always fly and her Daughter Zoe is fly in her own right picking up on her moms 80 hippie chic . I just think she should be awarded for her look cause right now that blazer neons and jean jacket is in heavy rotation all over the world funny how times change but things still remain the same ....Style
